Twitter

I have been tweeting to myself for twenty years now. What seems like tweeting to me might look like cawing to others though.

Anyone in front of a mirror.

Fables

They are full of the wisdom that some animals have, but we humans miss!

In today's world, a witness is a guy who having seen what he ought not have seen, is also willing to say what he ought not say!

Dated words

The most authentic and wise sayings of today will look like the most ordinary ramblings half a century from now. Familiar wisdom is ordinary.

Gender bias

While men are always struggling to understand women, women always find it an easier thing to misunderstand men.

Real and the unreal

If you do everything and then go to bed, that's life
If you go to bed and do everything, that's a dream.

I am awake and you are asleep.
While I am having a life, you are having only a dream.

Sky-high costs to use a toilet?

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20090227/od_nm/us_toilet_odd;_ylt=At2A6HyVKyg0tO_iJERZREHtiBIF

Wow. There is now talk of placing a coin slot on a toilet in a plane. Lovely!

This is truly globalisation. These unique pay and use toilets were only present in Chennai slums once upon a time. Now, they have gone up the social ladder and are literally going to get in the sky. However, I wonder how people who have to urgently take a leak, but short of change in a plane will react.

Wis. student accused of urinating in drink

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090304/ap_on_fe_st/odd_urine_drink_1
Hmm.
I now firmly believe in reincarnation. This kid should be Morarji Desai reborn. They say he is 15 years old. Morarji died 14 or so years ago. Right?

Teeth found in a wallet

Look at this news:

Someone found 10 adult human teeth in a new wallet they purchased. Whoever put them there knew something. The teeth belong in the mouth and that the mouth should be a purse.

Snake Charmers

Look at this news video:

http://www.yahoo.com/s/1031630

The caption reads that there is a ban on use of live snakes by snake charmers. Well, it's funny again, because then they will start using dead snakes which is worse. They are often not snake charmers, just snake harmers.

I am not sure if these links will be alive for a while or for the life of my blog. All the same, I have decided to comment on these as the easy way of finding subjects to write about. I hope you like these snippets.

Two nuclear subs ram into each other

Look at the news below:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20090217/wl_afp/britainfrancenuclearweapons

When I read it, I thought it was funny. They say a couple of nuclear (unclear) subs rammed into each other and did not know that they rammed into each other. Well, it is like two old people kissing each other and not knowing what they were doing. Why should we have such weapons that cannot be detected by one another? I am surprised to imagine that they were not even equipped with a plain periscope or some such thing.

Or is it the case of the more invisible thing winning?
